I was experiencing extremely slow and laggy performance on Windows 11 - not so much with Squareline Studio as much as every other application on my PC while Squareline was open. Couldn’t browse the internet, us VSCode, etc without incredible amounts of lag. Task manager wasn’t able to help me identify which process/application was at fault, nor if it was an issue with Memory, IO, or CPU.
Eventually I realized I should give it an exception in Windows Defender AntiVirus scanning. And like magic, the issue has resolved itself.
Specifically, I added the process itself to the exception list and restarted the application.
