SquareLine IDE stuck in full screen

What do you want to achieve?

I would like to share my monitor with other windows.

What led to the issue?

After installing 1.5.1 and using it for a bit, I ran 1.5.0 by mistake and closed it while loading with Alt+F4. After re-launching 1.5.1 my tool panes were all messed up, and the SquareLine window was full-screen.

What have you tried so far?

I unchecked Edit->Preferences->StartInMaximizedWindow, but after closing and reopening SquareLine it seemed to have no effect.

  • SquareLine Studio version: 1.5.0 and 1.5.1
  • Operating system: Windows 11, Intel iGPU, NVidia dGPU
  • Target hardware: ESP32-S3 based custom PCB.

Same issue 1.3.4 + 1.5.1 , both now start as movie full screen without close icons… Im on W10. And mean source is shared registry with two versions…
SQ is here plenty time , but still buggy.

Hi, yes, this is indeed a bug in version 1.5.1, which was also discussed in another forum thread: Question on the application it self and about maximize setting

You can fix it by deleting the fullscreen keys in the registry folder \HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SquareLine Kft.

We’ll be releasing version 1.5.2 soon, which will include a fix for this issue.
