Unauthorized export of png files in an empty project

What do you want to achieve?

Images should be exported or not exported depending on the project/source code settings

What have you tried so far?

Nothing. I just created an empty project.

    It doesn’t matter

I have created an empty project with some set of images in the resource directory.

Then I created a project template.

I was surprised to find that two images were exported automatically.

By trial and error, I found that the spontaneous export of an image occurs if there is a numeric character at the end of the file name.

Also have a question.
What is the point of the “Don`t export” option if the image is being exported?

Can you please check whether in the Project settings you have checked the “Force export all images” checkbox? We will check this more in depth though, whether the numbers are considered image frame animations, which could also be the root cause the bug. Thanks for reporting this!

“Force export all images” checkbox default unchecked.
Please respond. What is the point of the “Don`t export” option if the image is being exported?

I’m not sure, but based on reading the above mentioned details, the imageset behaviour will probably need some refinements not to export any files whose name is ending with a number, just those that are part of a sequence. Maybe imagesets are exported even if the ‘don’t export’ checkbox is ticked, so they’re there when anything in the project needs them. Thanks for the feedback about this use-case.
