What do you want to achieve?

I want to be able to make a component that is the go to home screen button.

What have you tried so far?

I have created the component and set it as clickable, then I created an event for this component click that is a change screen on click to home screen. When I export the ui the event for this component for the screen it is on never gets initialized. If I add the component to the screen then go and add another event in the component for screen change to home on click, this works, but I want the event I built in the component to be the only event I have to create,

You can’t create events inside components (‘Edit Component’ mode), especially screen-change. You can still create events on the instantiated components afterwards.

Yeah I think I have figured it out. It does let you create the event inside the component, it will just never export that event. Looks like it is best to create a new event for every instantiated component individually.
