Crash when trying to export ui

What do you want to achieve?

I want to export UI but the software crash when I click “Export UI Files” or “Create Template Project”

What have you tried so far?

To set export path in "Project Settings " but the soft crash when I click browse button…

I am having the same issue. Just started to evaluate the trial v1.2.3
Getting the following error: Segmentation fault (core dumped)
No log file is written.

The crash occurs during the export or while trying to setup the output folder. Regardless of the project created.
I started with an arduino based project, 1 screen and 1 button in the middle… nothing else.

Hey, had the same Problem. Running Ubuntu 24.04. Luckily rpraga wrote that this problem occurs while trying to setup the output folder. That got me thinking and i tried to run Squareline Studio as admin and it works. Maybe not the solution to the problem but definitely a workaround.

There are some existing reports already of a crash when file-dialog is requested by SquareLine Studio.

Ubuntu 22.04 LTS - no file dialog

Hello together, I just downloaded the trial version for linux. It is version 1.3.2. I have a x64_64 (amd) plain and up-to-date ubuntu 22.04. I did setup.sh and then ./SquareLine_Studio.x86_64 in the shell. Demo license is ok, I can create a new project… but, no matter there, if I push a button which opens a file dialog, like “Add file into assets” or Menu “Export->Export UI Files” Squareline Studio hangs. It is not useable anymore. I have to terminate it with CTRL-C. The says nothing, no error…

Add image in SquareLine Studio

Hello Team, I just downloaded SquareLine Studio (trial license ). I started creating GUI using the tool as per the demo video’s , but when I try to add file into assets, I am getting Segmentation fault. How to add image in SquareLine Studio ? How do I proceed further checking the tool?

SLS v1.3.3 on Ubuntu 22.04 LTS - crash with segmentation fault (core dump)

Once again with the latest version 1.3.3 of Squareline Studio. Any file choosing dialog crashes the application wtih a core dump. For instance: 1.) Start SLS 2.) Goto Examples and choose one. Smartwatch. 3.) Push the green Button “Add Files to Assets” on bottom right => Segmentation fault (Core Dump) I use a plain and up-to-date Ubuntu 22.04 LTS (the current LTS version). Nothing special. It seems some file-browsers caused problems (Nautilus). But for example, PCManFM has no problem on my Debian Bookworm system. Good to know that admin privileges are a possible workaround too…
