Dragging widgets in Hierarchy Panel

What do you want to achieve?

I often want to duplicate a common panel on one screen on another screen.
I click the copy button on the source panel then drag it down onto the new screen.
However, if that screen is off the bottom of the Hierarchy panel, it does not scroll coupled with that, you cannot seem to cancel the drag operation by pressing Escape so you have to drop it somewhere you can see it, delete it, scroll the Hierarchy panel such that you can see the source and destinations screens then do the copy and drag again.

I see the problem. What you can do now is scrolling with the mousewheel while dragging the item in the hierarchy.

Okay, moving the mouse wheel does scroll - that works well👍
It would be really nice to be able to cancel a drag with Escape though.
Also, the Hierarchy panel has an annoying habit of scrolling by itself so if I copy a widget then drag it (while using the scrollwheel to scroll down) the hierarchy keeps scrolling up.
