Help, can't add assets

I’m unable to include assets in SLS as it keeps searching in File Explorer. The process appears to be ongoing, but nothing actually occurs. Furthermore, if I interact with the File Explorer, it becomes unresponsive and ultimately forces me to exit the SLS Application.
any help ?
