This issue seems to have been introduced in version 1.4.2.
A file ui_temporary_image.cpp is generated, which causes compilation errors:
src/images/ui_temporary_image.cpp:79:5: error: expected primary-expression before '.' token
All other image files in the same folder are c-type.
Renaming this file from cpp-type to c-type resolves the issue.
