V1.20 UI issues

I have only been using v1.20 (Windows) for a few hours, but…

  1. Is not DPI aware.
    Text is VERY small on my 2560x1600 notebook. An external manifest helps.
  2. Cannot unlock locked screen items once project is saved.
    This has been reported previously, but has not been corrected.
  3. Cannot access full Event-Trigger options…there is no right-side vertical scroll bar
    Particularly anoying in Rollers and Dropdowns.
  4. Cannot scroll through screens. No horizontal scroll bar
    Must set Zoom to very small number to see them.

You can set the UI scale in the File → Preferences menu.

We could reproduce it and will fix it in the next version.

I don’t see which part do you mean. Can you send a screenhot or video?

True, we have already added it to our bug tracker.

There is no right-side vertical scroll bar to expose the bottom part of the list.

Ah, I see now. The right side of the list is out of the screen. We will fix it, but until that as a workaround you can:

  1. make the Inspector panel wider
  2. scroll it with touch pad or mouse wheel

@kisvegabor v1.2.0 is pretty much unusable without the horizontal scroll bar when you have multiple screens. I reverted to using v1.1.1 just because of that.

Bonus points if we could have a tiled view instead of just a horizontal view of the screens.

The “Cannot scroll through screens” surely must warrant an immediate hotfix !
SLS 1.2.0 is unusable as it stands :frowning:

Time to release patch critical bugs need be ASAP. I recommend add move screens with mouse scroll whell instead zoom or with hold right button.

Too Dark or any theme need be in preference project editable, and on create project i change width and height for LCD, but in preference edit is forced back from selected board , correct this,
and if theme is active show for example used background in edit setup and mark it as from theme.
Now isnt clean what is def and what overide…

Looks like v1.21 missed this item…still no scroll bar no matter how wide the inspector panel.

It should be fixed in v1.2.1. Which OS do you use?

Or do you mean the scroll bar of the drop-down? It’s really not fixed yet.

Making the Inspector wider should solve it and you can also scroll it with mouse wheel, or touch pad.

Please send a screen shot to show from where you miss the scrollbar.
